All four endorsed City Council candidates have accepted our invitation to attend the final Wenoca program of the year.

     Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd.  Early voting begins Thursday, October 15th and ends Saturday, October 31st.  Those Sierrans who wish to vote for Robin Cape need to remember that her name will not be on the ballot, as she is running a write-in campaign.

     We are extremely fortunate to have more endorsed candidates (four) than open City Council seats (three).  Let's hope that this signifies a return to the days when environmental protection was a near-unanimous, non-partisan value, rather than the wedge issue of the recent past.

     And let's be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to meet the candidates, hear their positions, and make them aware of our concerns.
